How to wear the Pantone Colour of the Year 2019, Living Coral.
Pantone announced the Colour of 2019 last week as Living Coral, a version of which can be found in all warm colour palettes. A shade of coral is a great skin enhancing colour for most warm complexions. Pantone’s predictions are usually fairly accurate, so we should see this colour (and many shades and variants) coming into the shops early next year for Spring Summer. If you already own anything in this colour, it’s time to think about how you might style it for 2019.
Sadly for cool complexions, Living Coral has a red-orange base and therefore isn’t the best colour. However, it still pairs well with some cool colours - keep them of a similar intensity and, if it’s a colour you love and want to make work, it could be worn away from the face alongside a more flattering colour. It goes beautifully with blue!
I have put together 11 creative colour combinations you can experiment with, instead of pairing it solely with neutrals.
